
Annual Town Caucus - A Caucus of the voters of the Town of Clinton will be held on Friday, May
4, 2012 at the Town Clerk's Office for the nomination of candidates to be
voted at the Annual Town Election on Monday, June 11, 2012.
The Caucus shall be called to order at 5:00 P.M. by Town Clerk Philip R.
Boyce and he shall preside until a Chairman is chosen. A minimum of
twenty-five (25) registered voters from the Town of Clinton must be present
in order for the Caucus to open.
The Caucus shall be conducted in compliance with the provisions of Massachusetts
General Laws Chapter 53, Section 121.
2012 Annual Town Meeting Warrant Articles - The Board of Selectmen is accepting warrant articles for the Annual Town Meeting to be held on Monday, June 4, 2012. Warrant article language must be submitted to the Office of the Board of Selectmen no later than Friday, April 20, 2012. Citizen Petitions must contain signatures from at least ten (10) registered voters from the Town of Clinton. Citizen petition warrant articles must first be submitted to the Town Clerk to verify registered voters. For more information, please call the Town Adminsitrator at (978) 365-4120.
2012 Town Election Nomination Papers - The Town Clerk has announced that nomination papers for local elected offices are available starting Monday, April 2, 2012 until Friday, April 20, 2012. The last day to return nomination papers to the Office of the Town Clerk is Monday, April 23, 2012 by 5:00 P.M.
Clinton Youth Council on Aging - The Clinton Youth Council on Aging recently held an event to celebrate Women's History Month. State Senator Harriette Chandler, UMass Lowell Professor Robert Forrant and UMass Boston Graduate Student Lauren Martin participated in this event that was held at Clinton High School. Clinton Community Service Day
- The Clinton Community Initiative conducted a successful downtown cleanup
project with citizen volunteers as part of their first annual Clinton
Community Service Day that was held on Saturday, August 20, 2011.
Interested citizens met in front of the Clinton Public Schools Central Office
and were grouped into teams and assigned to different areas of High Street.
A reception for all workers took place at the end of the event in appreciation
of their hardwork. The Town of Clinton wishes to thank everyone that
participated in this inspiring event that exhibited pride in our community.
