Business Development Committee - The Board of Selectmen has established a Business Development Committee whose mission is to explore ways the community can attract and retain businesses here in Clinton. West Nile Virus in Clinton Mosquitoes - The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has announced that West Nile Virus was detected in mosquitoes recently collected from Clinton. West Nile Virus is most commonly transmitted to humans by the bite of an infected mosquito. Mosquitoes that carry this virus are common throughout the state. While West Nile Virus can infect people of all ages, people over the age of 50 are at higher risk of severe infection. Annual Town Meeting - The Annual Town Meeting was held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Fallon Memorial Auditorium of the Clinton Town Hall. Copies of the warrant and budget are located on the front page of the town website.

Community Development Strategy Public Hearings - The Clinton Office of Community & Economic Development will hold several public hearings to review the Town of Clinton's Community Development Strategy and ongoing grant funded programs as well as to solicit community input on the FY14 Community Development Block Grant Program. These hearings will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM in the Chamber Room of the Clinton Town Hall and on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Clinton Senior Center. Copies of the FY2013 CDS are available in the Office of the Town Clerk at Clinton Town Hall during normal business hours. All comments are welcome.
