About the Commission

The Clinton Historical Commission is a town-appointed body whose purpose is to preserve historic materials, identify historic sites in the Town and recognize those who preserve the integrity of historical property through restoration. Organized in 1977, it is one of such historical commissions setup under the Massachusetts Acts of 1963.

The Commission consists of 7 members, one of whom serves as the chairman. Meetings are held quarterly on the first Monday of March, June, September and December at 3:30 p.m. in the Lower Conference Room of the Clinton Town Hall.
