FY2024 Insurance Benefits

July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024

The Town of Clinton’s Annual Open Enrollment period is held once a year in May for benefit changes beginning in July. Open enrollment is the ONLY window during which active employees and benefit-eligible retirees (non-Medicare qualified) may add, change or drop their current health/dental coverages unless they experience a qualifying event during the plan year. 

The Town of Clinton’s Health Insurance Rates, through Minuteman Nashoba Health Group (MNHG), will be increasing by 13.75% effective July 1, 2023, for the Fiscal Year 2024.  Altus Dental rates will remain the same. The current rate sheet can be found below.

We have been working with our vendors (Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Tufts Health Plan, BlueCross BlueShield, Good Health Gateway, CanaRX, Altus Dental, EyeMed, and SMART Plan) to provide information to educate you about their products.  To see more detailed information regarding our vendors please see below, or make an appointment with the Treasurer’s Office(978-365-4129) to complete an enrollment form.  Be sure to bring all necessary supporting documents (marriage certificate for your spouse and/or birth certificate for dependents).

Did you know? BCBS, Tufts, and Harvard Pilgrim health plans offer fitness reimbursements. CanaRX offers qualifying prescription medication at a $0 copay. Good Health Gateway is a rewards program that covers diabetes medications and supplies and has $0 copays. The SMART Plan is a way you can start saving for retirement.
