WHO IS A VETERAN?
For veteran services benefits, a veteran is any person (male or female) who has actively served in the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or full time National Guard duty and received a discharge under honorable conditions.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Veterans

A spouse or window(er) of the veteran if not divorced

Children under 18, children 18-23 while in high school or college and other children over 18 if totally disabled and affected by the disability prior to 18 years of age

The mother or father of the veteran, or any other person who has acted as parent for five years prior to the veteran's military service
WHAT ARE THE FINANCIAL CRITERIA AND MONTHLY BENEFITS
The monthly benefit depends on the living situation and special needs of the applicant as well as the income he or she receives from all sources.
